A construction accident hospitalized a man after failing 16 feet from a roof.
Daviess County Sherriff's Department reported that Larry Wagler, 19, was installing trusses on a pole building at a residence. When Wagler walked from one truss to another, Wagler put his weight on a 2 by 4 board with a large knot. The board snapped and Wagler fell 16 feet to the ground.
Wagler was flown to St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville for treatment of head and back injuries. A full investigation is underway.
