A couple recovered $9,250 for neck and back sprains they allegedly sustained in a collision with a sport utility vehicle. Jasper and Rhonda Folks were in a sedan on a residential street when Jean-Paul Barjon attempted to pass on the left. The Folks made a left turn and hit the SUV, which rolled over two or three times and came to rest on its left side. The jury found Barjon 85 percent at fault and Mr. Folks 15 percent at fault. It awarded $10,000 for past medical bills only. Mrs. Folks' recovery was $5,000, and after reduction for comparative fault, Mr. Folks' recovery was $4,250.
